Growth Commitment
Strong professionals don’t leave their development to chance. They reflect on how they work, identify where they need to improve and make clear commitments about how they will grow. Leadership readiness is built through consistent habits, strong fundamentals and personal ownership.
During ALDP, you will create a Professional Growth Commitment Statement that captures the type of professional you are committed to becoming at LandCare and the actions you will take to continue improving. The goal is not to create a perfect statement or a long-term vision. The objective is to clearly define the kind of professional you are committed to becoming and set specific, actionable goals.

Example: Professional Growth Commitment Statement

Leaders and clients can count on me to be a recruiter who takes full ownership of every search I work on. I am committed to being known for urgency, follow-through and discipline. I treat every role as a priority and every candidate interaction as a reflection of my standards. I am not here to be average. I am here to earn a reputation as a recruiter who consistently delivers.

One of my strengths is my work ethic and my refusal to quit when a problem gets difficult. I will lean into that by taking full ownership of my searches, maintaining constant visibility into my pipelines and next actions, and staying proactive with candidates and hiring managers.

The area I am most focused on improving is my ability to drive searches forward when momentum slows. To do that, I will set clear weekly activity and outcome targets, review my pipeline regularly to identify stalled searches and take immediate action when progress slows. I am committed to sustained effort and continuous improvement so I can build the habits and credibility required to grow into a leadership role.
